Greetings and welcome to another bit of fluff, community fluff, open-threaded fluff featuring a few photos from my summer vacation in Ireland.

As always, in an open thread hosted by little ol’ me, the comment section is wide open. Bring your diary links. Promote your causes. Share your concerns. Rant, rage and scream— it’s all good. Post your own photos. Embed a video that caught your interest or tickled your fancy. Some music for us to shake our stubby tails to? Hey, I'm for it.

Bronze age axe heads, halberd heads from 2000 -1700 BCE, a stone mold for axe heads, bronze age daggers ...

You can find so many things in a peat bog— shown here is an early medieval wooden deer trap.

12th Century shrine to St. Manchan

The Fethard Statues. Here's an informative link.

The bell from the tower at Glendalough! The guide told me that it was here.

The Shrine of the Miosach. This time a link to a Wiki page on this artifact.

Thanks for stopping by.

This is an open thread.
