Daily Kos Cartoonist Jen Sorensen was one of three finalists for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. According to the Pulitzer Committee, Jen was selected:
For a thoughtful and powerful selection of work appearing in a variety of U.S. publications and often challenging the viewer to look beyond the obvious.
