Alternate Title; This Is Not, A Tenant Dispute,
It’s, Murder!
I wrote this diary and wasn’t going to publish it.
I would try to be nice and diplomatic, with this guy. Doesn’t seem to be working.
Just attempt; to peacefully work out the problems I’m having, although, they are serious, major, problems.
Finally; I had to publish, because my last diary, about fire safety, made very little impression, on my new neighbor.
He just keeps, pretending; that he’s complying, intends to comply any time now, was going to comply, but I got him mad, etc.
I can still smell all the toxic chemicals he’s using.
It’s like he and my former neighbor, are following the same script.
No wonder, I had trouble here from the beginning.
The emotional and physical distress, that these people have and are still causing me with these horrible, toxic, chemical odors is unbearable. Besides, they don’t properly bag their garbage and laundry (another, horror story).
Guess this guy figures he’ll run me off. That’s what the other neighbor thought.
Only; if I had any where to go, do they think I’d live here, next to them?
The apartment doors here; are, old and awful. No way, airtight. Really need to be replaced.
I suspect; they don’t fix/replace, worn out weather stripping, etc because, I, might be smoking in the apartment and they wouldn’t be able to smell it from the hall.
I don’t smoke. I have a vaporizer. They know this.
My new neighbor; he likes his lifestyle. The fact that I’m not able bodied enough to be a party person like him. Interferes with what he wants to do.
Nothing helps. Lease rules don’t matter. From my observations. Lease rules are a joke. On poor suckers; like me, who obey them.
This guy doesn’t care, that this is a complex, for the elderly and disabled. That I need to sleep and breath. He apparently thinks he’s entitled to make loud noises at 4, 5am.
He’s a Democrat too. First thing he asked me was, did I support Trump.
I told him. No, I voted for Hillary.
I hesitate to involve Management. We have a brand new Manager. The 6th Manager in the 10 years I’m here. None of them last long.
This guy is so new; he wouldn’t even have a clue, how to handle this bully. He was already shaking, at the idea he might have to, last time I saw him.
I don’t want to start a total riot, by e-mailing the Owner. He, gets too excited. Only sees, legalese.
So I turn to Kossacks. You guys saved me; when the buildings went no smoking, telling me about vaporizers.
You also saved me; from that other neighbor, too.

Looks like the saga; of my trying to live in a chemical free environment, in peace, continues.
4/6 I’m dizzy right now. Guy next door woke me. Someone rang his doorbell 4am and when I wasn’t totally quiet about it, he decided to punish me, for my arrogance and started spraying the aerosol air fresheners, (an oxymoron, if I ever heard one).
Obviously; I cannot prove any of my suspicions, of what the actual sources of these chemical odors is, ie, candle, plug in’s, aerosol sprays, (all of them), whatever.
All these products smell pretty much the same. Most of them have a petroleum base.
The candles are more distinctive, in the fact that the odor is constantly apparent. But all these products, have that, chemical/petrol, smell.
They’re all; are extremely flammable, and a lease violation. (even, if, no flame versions, plug ins, sprays etc).
My lease say’s; “anything. that disturbs the peace and well being of other tenants, is a lease violation.”
These people don’t care. They know it’s costly to evict them. If the Landlord would even have the nerve to try.
Guess that’s why this guy is pulling the double-play, on me.
Like; how crazy, does it sound, that they moved me and again, another neighbor, is using these products. Obviously, it isn’t, but no one seems to be able to make them stop? Guess that’s why the Owner moved me. He couldn’t control the other tenant either.
Why is this new neighbor so obstinate in his insistence on making loud noises all night long and using these toxic products?
It’s not such an extreme request that he not, do this.
He claims that he isn’t. That; it’s something wrong with me, I’m supposedly imagining it?
Some unheard of, rare disease, that makes me smell things?
Well; I smell it again, as soon as I got up. Every day!
Unbelievable! Another tenant who’s deliberately asphyxiating me with scented air freshener products.
In NJ; we call this, the “okey, doke,” as in, a negative-yes, with chicanery in mind. A “fake out.”
People who know me, know I always tell the truth and am not, prone to imagination.
If I were to say it was candles, that’s ok, they’ll just spray aerosol stuff.
There, are many types of these products. All poison.
I’m tired of this guy, making me sick every time he hears me, awake.
I had enough of that, with my other ex neighbor.
Is this some type of sadistic game?
That they think it’s ok to give me daily; asthma attacks, a possible stroke or heart attack, because they insist on, asphyxiating me with toxic air freshener products?
Or; that, it’s ok; making loud noises, at times, when everyone, any where, is asleep and to ring a loud doorbell? (Sometimes they have them call on a cellphone, which is equally loud and can be heard through the apartment wall). There are at least 1,000 weird, creepy cell phone sounds. My other neighbor used them all to disguise guests arriving and to scare me in my sleep with strange sounds.
This guys using music and monotone type ringtones. Doesn’t work. Walls are so thin; if he can hear a noise, I can hear the noise. (he told me about the walls himself, when he was telling me not to make noise), Yeah; first day, see link.
Apparently; they don’t care, how sick they make me. 4/6 They just went past my door with laundry out of the dryer, not in a bag? On purpose.
He is, a total chemical junkie. Heavily-perfumed laundry detergent smell, another favorite torture of these people.
(*Pretending again). Like how can I blame him for normal odors like laundry? Because he’s knows I cannot tolerate the perfumes. I bag my laundry expect him to do the same. This is a multiple dwelling, these people use laundry baskets like they live alone somewhere. Anyone who’s lived in an apartment knows that odors and noise carry and do their best to contain them. This is common, apartment dwelling etiquette, courtesy.
He can hear me typing and is, not happy.
This guy thought I was going to be, “an easy mark.”
Now he’s finding out; I’m not and backtracking a little. This is an attempt to appear normal. But it’s not normal. It’s rude and abusive. Also; can’t prove it, but smelled like incense ashes shortly afterwards. I often smell what smells like incense too.
Hopefully; I will be able to eventually, reason with this guy. I won’t back down. I cannot live like this.
After six years with the other neighbor doing this to me, I won’t live like this any longer!
I can’t breath, the pain in my heart is coming back and I’m getting “panic attacks,”when I try to go to sleep at night.
No doubt; my ex neighbor; surely told him, how to abuse me. She did the same for years. She’s only across the parking lot. Saw her talking to another tenant last week.
This guy didn’t care from the start. So it’s no stretch, to think he’s abusive.
*All I know is; it’s like being physically assaulted.
Beside the long term affects being exposed to these toxic substances could have on my health; with some of these chemicals odors, it feels, like I’m getting punched in the head, they’re, so pungent.
Like this pineapple scent they’re using past couple of days. Or the odor of his dirty laundry.
Other times, I feel like I’m stroking out and going to faint. And I can’t breath! I wake up gasping for air and coughing up flem, sometimes, as well.
Continually; getting scared out of my sleep, by the sound of loud noises is not good either. Was having severe heart pain, palpitations, skipping, etc from this in the other apartment.
This is assault. This guy was told about my physical allergies.
But he continues; contrary to the lease terms, to use these products. As well as wake me up, with, unusually, loud noises.
5/4 1:30am, A horrible scent, just permeated my living room!
At first it smelled like a fast food; men’s room. Then morphed into a strong pineapple odor. ½ hr later, smells like a candle. My ex neighbor had a candle that smelled like that. This could be, one of those, plug ins. Almost Impossible; to police these odors, I’m sure.
This guy next door; tried to tell me, that, I’m imagining this.
He said; “maybe I need to go to a hospital,” (implying, mental hospital).
I asked him; “you implying, mental hospital?”
He was like, “oh, no, of course not.”
Yeah; if I have a stroke!
