Some could say, I’m a little, late, or not.

Depending on who’s calendar we use. Right on time. I had this mostly written yesterday but was too exhausted to post it and stay around to answer comments and generally party.

When I was a kid my Mother always said that, “Every day; was Christmas, For Me.”

Hardly.

But better than she had, growing up. The oldest of 8 children. Immigrant parents and working since age 11, even younger.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. Followed by, St Patrick’s Day.

I’m Always Ready; For Another, Go-Round, Of Christmas Festivities!

 We Get A, Second Christmas!

 Orthodox Christmas, January 7th.

We Also Get; The Feast Of The Epiphany; (Twice), Celebrated 12 days after Christmas.

Either; on January 6th, (or January 19th, for some Orthodox Churchs, who have Christmas on January 7th).

When; The Wise Men (also sometimes called, The Three Kings) Visited Jesus.

Some individuals are ready to go directly into permanent housing. Others need more intensive supports in transitional housing to overcome a life on the streets.

Save the Date: HOPE 2018 January 22nd, 2018 Annual city-wide census of the individuals sleeping outdoors in New York City. Breaking Ground partners with the NYC Department of Homeless Services to conduct the count in the midtown Manhattan area.

The 2018 HOPE Count takes place on a cold winter night, from late Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

Many volunteers return year after year for an experience they describe as “rewarding” and “enlightening.” It’s truly a chance to connect with New York City and its inhabitants like never before.
